Vocal Remover

Remove the lead vocal from a stereo song by cancelling the centre channel, and download an instrumental track. Processing happens in your browser.

MP3, WAV, M4A, OGG, Opus or FLAC. The song never leaves this tab.

This is centre-channel cancellation: a stereo mix is subtracted from itself, so whatever sits in the middle (usually the lead vocal) drops out. Songs with wide or doubled vocals, heavy reverb, or a mono master will not cleanly separate; a mono file cannot be processed at all, because there is no second channel to subtract. The output is mono by design, which is what gives the deepest cancellation.

What Is Vocal Remover?

The Vocal Remover subtracts one stereo channel from the other, which cancels anything mixed to the centre, usually the lead vocal, and leaves an instrumental-style track. Strength presets let you remove the centre completely or leave some of it, and an optional low-frequency restore adds back bass and kick drum that the cancellation also thins out. The result is saved as MP3 or WAV.

Who Uses the Vocal Remover?

Singers and buskers make practice backing tracks from songs they own, DJs build a quick instrumental edit, and language learners lower a vocal to hear the music underneath.

How to Use the Vocal Remover

  1. Open a stereo song and confirm the player shows two channels.
  2. Choose a removal strength and whether to restore low frequencies.
  3. Preview the instrumental, then download it as MP3 or WAV.

Why Choose Our Vocal Remover?

  • One page from song to instrumental, with no account or software
  • Bass restore keeps the result from sounding thin
  • Strength presets cover full cancellation and a lighter, fuller touch
